Natural
This finish highlights the depth of colour that can be achieved just by burning and protecting the wood. Therefore we don’t use any colour enhancements or corrections for this option. Since these products have a natural finish they will continue to develop and patina over time. The way the finish ages will be influenced by factors such as temperature, humidity, and exposure to sunlight. We created the example here by storing the finished wood in a conservatory over spring and summer. This meant we exposed it to both fluctuating temperatures and bright sunlight.
Black
While the natural finish is beautiful in its own way we understand that some customers may want to buy a product that will continue to look the same long after purchase. Our black finish offers this option. Our black products are colour treated after burning to give a long-lasting finish. While we cannot say that there will be no changes over time, the aging of these products will not be as extreme as the natural finish.
